BTW’s AMP & le MAI – We’re partnering up!

“Black Community Forum Organization step up to the Plate and Leadership in the English Speaking and Black Communities. The Black Theatre Workshop has been moving out of the shadows and definitions of the external mainstream cultures and working diligently to give voice to the Black Self. But in doing so it has been partnering with minority and mainstream voices to give Quebec and Canada a more diverse and new sense of self and cultural expression”- Clarence Bayne

On the horizon…

The Artist Mentorship Program (AMP) is proud to announce a new partnership with MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels). The MAI has been a huge resource for the development of local and national theatre and AMP is honoured to have our 2018 Industry Showcase housed in the MAI theatre for the very first time. The MAI has also contributed towards the budget of the Industry Showcase as well as some of our technique workshops.

As the current holder of the Montreal English Theatre Award for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), the MAI is the perfect partner for AMP, which holds the 2016 award in the same category. We look forward to a long and productive future with our new collaborator!
